- To reduce soot, always trim the wick to ¼” before relighting
- Never burn your candle for longer than four (4) hours
- Always use a coaster or only burn your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface
- After extended burns (4 hours), allow candle to cool for an hour before trimming the wick to ¼” and relighting
- Discard your candle when ½” an inch of wax remains to avoid shattering the vessel which may lead to fire(s)

To extend the life of your candle:
- Store candles in a cool or room temperature area away from direct sunlight.
- After burning, return your candle to the box only after you have ensured that the candle has cooled completely.
